Moisture, humidity, and dampness can be really damaging to your home. After water damage, it is important that you do not let the moisture sit around the house. You need to remove it immediately or else mold will start to grow.

-Wipe down all surfaces with a dry towel or cloth
-Seal off any wet carpets or rugs with plastic wrap
-Dry all items on low heat setting in your clothes dryer (make sure to air out items before putting them back in your closet)
-For any sensitive materials like documents, pictures, and electronics use a dehumidifier –
